EDUCATION MANAGEMENT PERSPECTIVES ON KINDERGARTEN TEACHER TURNOVER IN CHINA

Xinyu Shi, Nuntiya Noichum

Abstract

The loss of teachers has a significant impact on the quality and equity of pre-school education in China, and it is also a key factor restricting the development of these two aspects. This study analyses the causes and impact of teacher turnover from the perspective of educational management and finds that three core factors dominate the phenomenon: human resource allocation and salary fairness; organisational atmosphere and leadership ability; and professional development path. Research shows that teacher losses are not just a matter of personal choice. Based on this, the study suggests that education managers should shift from transactional to transformational management and propose targeted policy recommendations to reduce teacher turnover and promote the development of China's pre-school education.
