THE IMPACT OF EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP ON THE SUCCESS OF ELDERLY CARE ENTERPRISES
Abstract
This research aims to examine the leadership of executives and its relationship with the success of elderly care enterprises in Bangkok and its metropolitan areas. A qualitative research methodology was employed, utilizing documentary research through a review of concepts, theories, and related studies, along with in-depth interviews with key informants. Content analysis was used to interpret the data. The findings reveal that effective leadership in elderly care enterprises requires strong human resource management capabilities, particularly in empowering employees to make decisions that continually enhance service quality and respond promptly to the immediate needs of the elderly. Employees are thus considered high-cost yet vital resources contributing significantly to business success. Furthermore, leaders must be capable of managing technology in financial and marketing administration, emphasizing service innovation to enhance service technology, improve service quality, and develop the physical environment of elderly care facilities to ensure comfort and safety for the elderly.
