Abstract

Based on the perspectives of Education Management, this study considers the practice of teaching management and the curricula of dance projects in Chinese higher education institutions. With the transition of higher education in China from expansion to quality improvement, teaching management has become a key way to improve teaching efficiency and achieve constant optimization of teaching quality; however, the current teaching management structure is mainly built for theoretical disciplines that are quite difficult to handle in dance, a discipline with practical and artistic performance.Systematically reviewing the literature, we studied the theoretical fundamentals of teaching management, the unique features of Dance Education Teaching, and the structure of China's higher education system, and found that the contradiction between standardized administrative control and dance teaching is process - centered and empirical in nature-especially in education. curriculum planning, teaching evaluation and teacher autonomy remain at the heart of this area.In this regard, the study suggests that the teaching management of dance projects should shift from the traditional regulatory mechanism to a more flexible form of maintenance management and use the means of theoretical integration to link teaching management theory to subject characteristics to compensate for the theoretical shortcomings of Chinese higher education in practical disciplines.
