HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENT OF Pb(II), Cd(II), Cu(II) IN COSMETICS FOR THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT QUALITY OF LIFE
Abstract
This research aims to study Health risk assessment of Pb(II), Cd(II), Cu(II) in 4 samples of cosmetic always used on face namely, lipstick, eye shadow, brush on and eyeliner from the market. The samples were prepared by wet digestion and dry digestion method. The amounts of toxic heavy metal were detected by used Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) in all experiments. The amounts of Pb(II), Cd(II), Cu(II) found in all 4 types of cosmetics were lower than the standard value. This result confirmed that the cosmetics were safe from toxic and heavy metals to make the quality of life of people in present get better and get sustainable development quality of life.
